  Typical Setup with Waves CA3000-MX and ASIO

  

  The above illustration shows a typical installation project using a standard ASIO interface. The Waves CA3000-MX provides mixer processing for multiple mics and a playback device. The mixer matrix outputs drive a multi-zone installation consisting of PA speakers in the main room and several ceiling-mount speakers in the lobby.

  The CA3000-MX includes high-quality audio DSP functions including equalizers and dynamics. Installations that require automatic mixing of several microphones (such as corporate and government discussion panels) may add the optional Dugan Speech automixer plugin for automatic control of multiple mic gains. Dugan Speech integrates smoothly into the CA3000-MX and can be set up easily to auto-mix all of the available input channels.

  
  

  Typical Setup with Waves CA3000-MX and Dante^®

  

  The above illustration shows a typical installation project using a Dante^® network. In this example, multiple mics and an audio player are connected to a Dante^® stage box and routed on the network using Dante^® Controller.

  The Waves CA3000-MX provides audio processing for each channel with outputs sent from the matrix mixers to audio amplifiers on the network. Wireless and wired mics are processed independently in the mixer, with precision audio plugins configured by the integrator to manage each mic type and use.

  Two matrix outputs are used to provide independent mixes to the amps for each zone: PA speakers in the main room and a series of ceiling-mount speakers in the lobby. In addition to the zones in the facility, the CA3000-MX also provides a third matrix (stereo) as the audio mix connected to an online streaming computer.

  
  

  Remote Control with the mRecall App

  

  Pre-programmed settings on Waves Commercial Audio devices can be remotely controlled from iOS and Android mobile phones and tablets, via the Waves mRecall mobile app.

  To connect to mRecall, your Waves CA device (1) must be connected to a wireless router (2). This allows the end-user to switch settings with their phone or tablet (3).

  To set up mRecall with your Waves CA system:

  1. Make sure that your mobile device (with mRecall installed) and your Waves CA system are both connected to the same wi-fi network.
  2. In your Waves CA application, go to the Setup tab > System Inventory > Controls. Under Controls, add “MyRemote.” This will allow a mobile app to connect.
  3. Back on your mobile device, open the mRecall app.
     
     Once connected, mRecall will show the list of scenes available from the Waves CA application’s show file, as well as the current scene separately at the top of the screen, so you know which one is active.
     
     Regardless of whether you change scene from the CA application or the mRecall app, the current scene will be updated in real time on the app.
